    1. Hi Stephen,
Of course. Please let me know what questions you have, and I’ll do my best to provide answers. I am a happy user of the PhotoLogo service, but I am not affiliated with them in any way nor do I receive any compensation from them.

  1. was wondering how much does something like this cost in Canadian dollars. Also how does it work do you have to have editing sights to attach it too.

    1. Hi Darlene,

I paid about US$40, so I assume the cost in Canadian dollars would be approximately that price multiplied by the current conversion rate. You’d have to look at PhotoLogo’s site to determine your specific price.

The service delivers your watermark as .png files, which you can then use wherever you’d like. I use them in two ways: 1) When I export an image file from Lightroom (photo editing and workflow software), I sometimes check the box to include the watermark. Then I can share the image file via social media, email, etc. and know that the watermark will help protect it against theft. 2) When I upload images to my professional photography site (powered by SmugMug), I have it add the watermark. You can use the PhotoLogo files any way you want, but those two ways work well for my workflow.

Hope this helps! Remember, I’m a happy customer of the PhotoLogo service, but I’m not affiliated with them in any way, and I don’t receive anything from them.

  2. Hi Kyle,
Do this phot watermark needs a software to use this? Or how does it work? Which website I can check how much will. It cost Canadian dollars for the photos I do?

    1. Hi Ginah,

PhotoLogo’s website is at https://photologo.co/. You can find more info and their pricing there. You only pay one time and receive the watermark files back from them; after that, you can use it for no additional cost on all of your photos. You don’t need software to use the watermark if you share your photos on a site (such as SmugMug) that can add your watermark automatically. If you want to share your photos on most social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.), then you will need to add the watermark to your photos first using software like Lightroom or Photoshop.
